What is Android-X86? Android-X86 is project, aiming to port Android to X86 platform. That means, that you can take a USB flash drive, make it bootable with Android-X86 and ready to run Android on your Laptop or PC.
For now, KitKat is the latest version, but work on Lollipop has started.
Do you want to make your own custom version of Android-X86, with special configuration for you Laptop/PC? It’s possible, just go to http://www.android-x86.org/ and you will find great tutorials on how to make your own custom version, add drivers, modify it and so on. You can even compile version of Lollipop, but it isn’t too stable for now.
